Product Description

Fully Insulated FIW U1 Zero-defect Enamelled Round Copper Wire Replace the Traditional TIW

Fiw is an alternative to conventional Triple Insulated Wire (TIW) for the production of switching transformers. Compared to conventional TIW, Fiw offers a greater range of outside diameter options, allowing customers to produce smaller transformer sizes at a lower cost. At the same time, Fiw offers superior winding and soldering performance.

Fiw wire is made of polyurethane and has a high voltage rating to meet the demand for miniaturisation, ease of winding, and cost reduction in electronics. The wire is defined as reinforced insulated wire or fully insulated wire, which meets the certification requirements of the UL safety system, and can be used in small transformers, switching power supplies, and other application scenarios.

Fiw wire has a smaller outer diameter, is easy to produce, and is not subject to production performance constraints, which gives it an advantage in the area of product design. As the downstream end-market requirements for triple insulated wires increase, traditional triple insulated wires can no longer fully meet certain technical specifications, and the introduction of Fiw wires fills this gap.

Fiw is generally an enamelled copper wire with a temperature resistance rating of 180 degrees, coated with a polyurethane resin.

Fiw wire offers multiple benefits, including high temperature resistance, high strength, and excellent insulation. With a temperature rating of 180 degrees and an insulation breakdown voltage of up to 2,800V, these characteristics make Fiw wire the material of choice for applications such as small transformers and switching power supplies.
